Crafting Guide

Crafting Basics

Use the published recipe pages to check the full material chain before converting rare stock.

Check The Bottleneck First

Most recipe problems are not about the final item. They are about one missing ingredient: Strong Acid, Conduit Crystal, Necrolei Cyst, or Troilite.

Use The Planner Before Spending Rare Stock

The Crafting Planner shows the ingredient chain and links each known material to a route page.

Keep A Reserve

For advanced materials such as Troilite or Conduit Crystal, avoid converting everything at once. Check the next vehicle or tool upgrade before crafting.

Craft In Three Passes

Use a three-pass workflow: first identify the final item, then list every ingredient, then open each route page before leaving base. This prevents a common Early Access problem where a player crafts one processed part, spends a rare material, and only then discovers that another ingredient belongs to a much harder route.

Raw Materials Stay Flexible

Raw materials are useful because they can become several different things. Processed materials are useful only when the target recipe needs them. Keep raw Titanium, rare crystals, and plant resources in reserve until the craft is ready.

Patch-Safe Crafting Habits

  • Re-check the recipe after patch notes or hotfixes.
  • Keep one storage container for materials you are not ready to spend.
  • Use the linked resource page to decide whether a route is early, mid-game, or advanced.
  • When playing co-op, assign one player to material tracking so the group does not duplicate trips.
